I did some thinking which I see that our church is not really doing anything about. How to help the poor and how to help the helpless. Are we not sensitive enough about our surroundings that we no longer see the importance of helping people without recognitions (for the (direct translation) The Very Respected) or we have too many problems to help other people? Hmmm...something to think about i believe. I dont think our problem will ever fade or if it does...trust me some brand new probs will come and we will be back at square 1 again. So if this goes in circle we all know that there will be no room in the circle of our life to help other people. So the moral of the story is....mind your own business and u can be my friend by knowing my name and thats it. I dont want to know your problems....but hy..if u have party dont forget to invite me. Believe it or not?
Rachel, dont be ridiculous. That is not true. We want to know their problems. We want to cry and also laugh with them. We want to uphold them in prayers. We want to pray together with them.
If prayer can solve all of the problems....geeezzz....why dont we all stop working and start praying for money? Money can solve all the problems. You dont believe me? Lets see....people said, we work to live to earn money...why? coz if there's no money you wont feel happy not having your needs and wants met. Why is there wars? GREED! POWER! AUTHORITY! and then behind all this MONEY! Lets see.....who would you listen too? A small boy saying that he left the key in the car and the big brother look around and found nothing?....................................I was in the situation before. And im in the process of learning not to judge people by their age, knowledge, status and stuff. I choose to believe the little boy and asked the other boy to find properly in the car. And he found it. Guess what the big people did in the process? Scolded the little boy like anything and yada yada....but when its provent that the key was in the car, nobody said sorry. HA HA HA....see how a hippotamus can an adult be when they look at things. Anyhoot, back to money. Oh well I believe we are all convince that money is super important in our life. We all need money to survive....we dont say we want money to survive... :D its a NEED. and NEED and want is different. Need=you'll die without it. Want=you'll still live without it. And dont go and yell at me saying that RACHEL! you devil spokesperson. MONEY IS THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL you stupid woman! bla bla bla.....if so, i suggest you to read your bible again. :P it says...the LOVE of money is the root of all evil.....so why blame the money????? Its ur heart that love the money that you should be blaming....so is my speech on money.
Lets go back to praying for the needy. I have a friend. He needs to pay his house rent badly. And have no money for that. What do you do? Ahahaha...i will pray for that person..what do you say to God? Well I said something like this. God i pray that you will bless this person. I pray that he will have the money to pay his rent. Coz if he dont, he wont have any house to live in. Send someone to help him Lord. Thank you for loving us Lord. Thank you for providing all the needs of your people. KABOOOM....he got the cash to pay the house? NOPE. He didnt. so what did i do? Pray again. Same prayer but i emphasize to God on the part Send someone to help him.
Well it basically didnt work. My prayer wasnt answer. Wonder why...oh guess what I ate the whole week? McDonalds, Pizza, KFC. Geeezzz...
So, why cant we be that SOMEONE? Why is it always, other people in our mind? Why not say, I'll help him. Il give him some money. Why not get your hand dirty? God got his hand dirty when he created us. I like to imagine that he build us using his hand..LOL...u know our kid imagination...using the tanah liat...imagine if he did that...wow...God would have been VERY dirty....oh and dont forget, he put his breathe in us too....weeeee...now God, you can never run away from me...my probs is yours too....ahahahahahaha.....Imagine how many of us here he have to deal with? But Rachel, He is God. Do we look like we are God to be able to do that? Well you def are not God....ahahahaha....Thank God. But i dont think you need to be God to help 1 person that you know who is in trouble. :) If you have problems in helping that one person who is in trouble, what are your other friends for? Wondering if you can help. Celine: Oh sure. I have RM50 here. Problem SOLVE! Much effective than just praying eh? wow. (Please....I love praying. I believe in the power of prayer) But sometimes there are different ways to get our prayers answered I believe. :) So Rachel, everyone need money. Are we going to donate to them? What if they tipu us? Well, tipu is a different case. Why would you want to donate to people whom you know who is cheating? So what do you do? Talk to that person lor. Confront that person. Basically the point made is, help who you can. :) Be sensitive to others need. Be that someone. Dont be scared to see people are doing well than us. Or receiving more than us. I know a real scenario (u wont believe if i say where). The money is collected for certain people, and when they counted the money and divided the amount for the certain people, it was alot!! And guess what did they did? They set a standard and give out RM500 ONLY!!! each to the certain people. What do we call this kinda act? Why are we scared to see others receiving alot? tsk tsk tsk.... Oh and now that we see instead of doing things alone....we can do it together....share the RM200....if we have 20 people willing to help..then only wat? rm10 each ma....so RM200 dont seem to much after all eh? STOP DOING THINGS ALONE! DO IT TOGETHER!
I have something in mind in fact. But let me gather some..or at least let me construct my thoughts so that when i proposed it out you will understand. Well let me know your opinions on helping people. And its true our church is not doing anything about this besides having more and more fund raising for ITSELF!...and please dont only start to do offering when people die. Now that it is put that way, it sounded sick eh? Lets not be bothered to look so far for now.....just look at our own church members. On how to help them. Which church members? The widows...the kids who have no father and mother, single parent stuff like that. :) If no one is initiating anything, why dont we?
